NCUR 2017 Travel Award to Avisha Sabaghian

Congratulations to Avisha Sabaghian who has received an Office of Undergraduate Research travel award to present her work at the NCUR 2017 conference at Memphis, Tennessee. Her research focuses on visualizations to facilitate information retrieval in search engines pertaining to interdisciplinary topics found on Wikipedia.

LEADS Partnership Grant Awarded to the ASSIST Lab

We are thrilled at the opportunity to improve adaptive scaffolding provided by the artificial pedagogical agent embedded in nBrowser. This work will focus on a collection of online resources built for teachers by the Natural History Museum of Utah. in collaboration with Dr. Kirsten Butcher and members of the MIND lab, including research assistant Michelle Hudson.
